ACCELERATED AGING TEST CHAMBER

Simulation of UV rays on paint.

At BENITO, we carry out accelerated aging tests reproducing the damaging effects of sunlight on paint.

These tests are used as quality control for the analysis and evaluation of discontinuities, pores and damage to the paint or certain coatings.

What does it consist in?

Samples subjected to this test are inserted into a chamber with fluorescent UV lamps to reproduce the damaging effects of sunlight. Although ultraviolet (UV) light constitutes only about 5% of sunlight, it is responsible for much of the damage that sunlight causes to the samples exposed to the elements.
